We are pleased to announce the newly redesigned web-page of the reacTable project featuring pictures, videos and documentation of the instrument. You will also find the release of the reacTIVsion open source project.

The reacTable*, is a state-of-the-art multi-user electro-acoustic music instrument with a tabletop tangible user interface. Therefore this electronic instrument uses no mouse, no keyboard, no cables and no wearables. In the reacTable*, several simultaneous performers can share complete control over the instrument by moving physical artefacts on the table surface and constructing different audio topologies in a kind of tangible modular synthesizer or graspable flow-controlled programming language.
