Following the success of the previous international congresses on sound and vibration which were held in the USA (1990, 1992, and 2002), Russia (1996 and 2004), Canada (1994), Australia (1997), Denmark (1999), Germany (2000), Hong Kong (2001), Sweden (2003), and Portugal (2005), the International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration is pleased to announce the 13th International Congress on Sound and Vibration (ICSV13) to be held from July 2 to 6, 2006 in Vienna, Austria.
About IIAV
The International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration ( IIAV) is an international non-profit-scientific society affiliated with the International Union of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics ( IUTAM). IIAV currently has approximately 500 individual members in 55 countries and is supported by 31 national and international scientific societies and organisations. The IIAV provides a refereed journal on paper, the International Journal of Acoustics and Vibration (IJAV), an electronic newsletter, and the International Sound and Vibration Digest (ISVD) for all members as part of their dues.
