[Un]Common Sounds v.1.2 is a documentary in progress, part of the wider project under the same name: [Un]Common Sounds. The film is aiming at an analysis of the experimental sound / sound art field, through interviews with active members of the global network.
Why one decides to experiment with sound?
This is not a film on «who is who» on the experimental sound scene, but rather a demystification of it. It does not aim in providing answers rather than raising questions. It is about why one decides to work with sound, and what is the relation with his/her environment.

So far, more than 40 artists have expressed their opinions and ideas on sound creation. In this version there are comments by: Carl Michael Von Hausswolff (Sweden), Norbert Möslang (Switzerland), As11 (Greece), Joe Colley (USA.), Achim Wollscheid (Germany), Marc Behrens (Germany), Asmus Tietchens (Germany), Felix Kubin (Germany), Alan Courtis (Argentina), Luis Marte (Argentina), Pablo Reche (Argentina), Gabriel Paiuk (Argentina), Paruro (Perú), Nikos Veliotis (Greece) and others.
