Reductive Journal attempts to call out different forms of art altogether to consider the complex interrelationship between sonic materials and text. Approaching to various topics under the same theme, we will select contributors who could explore their individual interpretations and produce unreleased works openly.This issue celebrates our new start with the title, text_so_nance with observations from Sarah Hughes, Hankil Ryu, Tsunoda Toshiya, and myself.
Reductive Journal has chosen a free downloadable PDF format to reach as many listeners as possible and manifests “very little” whilst anticipating a platform to “experience”. We hope that this “experience” will be the inevitable concept that offers interests, concerns and feedbacks.
My sincere gratitude to the fellow editors and the artists involved in the first issue. I would especially like to thank Daniel for his courage to initiate the idea to kick off such a wonderful event of Journal ONE.
