PNEM Sound Art Festival is an international platform of new experimental music, noise and sound installations, acoustic and electronic, performance and visual music made by today’s talent.
The two-day festival is actually located in Theatre Naat Piek and the APPROXIM Studio’s in Uden, The Netherlands. Simultaneously it will be presented to the rest of the world through internet. It also will be possible to contribute virtual to the festival through internet and perform real time from your home town studio.
Platform New Experimental Music invites all artists to submit proposals for a new experimental music festival in the south of The Netherlands. Do you have a fresh idea, a detailed concept or a ready-to-show performance for new experimental music, please send your completed application package by August 31.
The idea is to play our foolish music based on comedy performances and improvisation music in diferent places around a city: we love to play in pharmacies, also on the changing room of any swimming pool or just, like we’d like now, under a bridge:
FIND OUT A LOCATION: if bridges set up the basement of a hanging highway it would be great.
PLUG IN: then the next step would be to make work the idea that we just need a generator source that supply with electricity our instruments (we need to plug an amplifier for the computer and another amplifier for the electric guitar).
THE REASON WHY: Using this location, we take advantage of the acoustic and we raise up art to the maximum power of the meaning of what art is, out of the conventional spaces; it can provoque and generate many consecuences around by this occasional installation.
We are open to hear which are the location possiblities of to carry out that project: that’s to say, in any bridge near the festival is located or just in any bridge around our place.
