Whispering in the Leaves es una instalación sonora de Chris Watson que recrea las selvas de Centroamérica y América del sur, se presentó en el AV FESTIVAL 08 y ahora se podrá ver, o mejor dicho escuchar, del 29 de mayo al 5 de septiembre en Kew Gardens, un jardín botánico de Londres.

Chris Watson’s Whispering in the Leaves is an extraordinary sound installation, using recordings and natural history broadcast to transport us to the far-flung, dense rainforests of South and Central America. Throughout Kew Gardens’ Summer festival, the Palm House will be diffused with the dawn and dusk choruses of the myriad of creatures native to these lush tropical landscapes.

A number of events are planned to take place throughout the Summer season, from special performances and workshops led by Chris, to talks with ecological luminaries and artist-led monthly tours around the installation.
